About OIT Journal
OIT Journal is a free app for parents whose child is doing oral immunotherapy (OIT) for a food allergy. It keeps the daily routine in one place.
Who makes it
OIT Journal is built and looked after by Alex Gavruta, an independent developer. The ideas and problems families send in decide what gets built next.
What it does
Log each dose in one tap, follow the observation window on your lock screen, note symptoms, see the progress for each allergen and share a PDF report with your allergist. Both parents share one diary, and it works offline.
What it is not
- It is a diary, not a medical device.
- It gives no dosing advice, and it never suggests or changes a dose.
- It does not replace your allergist. Always follow your allergist's plan, and in an emergency, follow your emergency action plan and call the emergency services.
